sunbculture started as a study of deviants (1800's) gin lane (will hogarth)
teens with disposable income now hate their parents
popular, safe, vanilla, unproblematic because it ignores anything none white, that or offensive jokes
found in gov laws, authorities and economic systems. school and work with their rules. dominant ideology w/ interests of powerful social groups

​Cottagecore is a subculture about wanting to live a simple country life. Its ecofriendly as well as regular friendly, people just wanna chill in a field. Most people in this subculture only dress the part, or compensate by keeping a herb garden in their bedroom, because most people cant live in a little cottage in the woods. Its mostly escapism.
