Response to the written word

I had a lot of trouble thinking of metaphors that said everything I wanted them to. Most of my ideas ended up being confusing or not portraying tech well enough. I also found that researching the topic of the article further confused my illustrations. The article I was given was pretty neutral on opinions, I formed a pretty positive opinion while reading, and any other source I read made me think it was a negative thing.
In the end I was thankful I got two illustrations to work with, as I could split the whole article into two metaphors, making both easier to understand.
